In the midday sun
When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph in black and white, you photograph their souls.
My personal thought about B&W is that it makes the photo "feel" different, like if the image were transmitting a specific emotion into the viewer. It also remove distracting objects like colorful blackgrounds (portrait). Black and white is best to me because this is not the way we see things in life. We can go anywhere anytime and see color. It is a real treat to see things in beautiful B&W.
(Polish) Wlasnie wczoraj natknalem sie na zdjecie, ktore zrobilem pare tygodni temu w dzielnicy BO-01 i postanowilem cos wiecej z niego wydobyc niz tylko kolory i powierzchowne wrazenia estetyczne. Nie wiem czy mi sie to udalo, ale przynajmniej probowalem i przy okazji zdobylem nowe doswiadczenia w transformacji zdjec na B&W. Istnieje pare metod i kazda z nich wydobywa nieco inny efekt koncowy. Ja wykorzystalem metode w sumie dosyc tradycyjna, chociaz mysle, ze w tego typu zdjeciach krajobrazowych sprawdzajaca sie calkiem niezle.
